The function of an ultrasonic transducer is to convert the electrical power input into mechanical power (ultrasonic) and then transmit it, while itself consuming a small portion of the power.
Mentioned to ultrasonic transducer, the technical challenge to be solved is to design an ultrasonic transducer with large range and frequency bandwidth. A transducer consists of a housing, a matching layer, piezoelectric ceramic transducer, a backing, an induction cable, and a Cymbal array receiver. Piezoelectric ceramic disc transducers are made of PZT-5 piezoelectric materials with a polarized thickness direction, and the Cymbal array receiver consists of 8 to 16 Cymbal transducers, two metal rings and rubber washers. The effect distance of the invention is greater than 35m and the frequency bandwidth reaches 10kHz, which can detect long-distance targets with high-speed movement.
There are also some common problems when using ultrasonic transducers of Plastic Ultrasonic Welding Machine.
1.Ultrasonic vibrators moisture. The mega-euro meter can be used to check the plug connected with the transducer. By checking the insulation resistance value can judge the basic situation. It generally requires insulation resistance greater than 5 mega-euro. If this insulation resistance value is not reached, it is likely to be due to the transducer moisture. The solution is put the whole transducer (excluding spray plastic housing) into the oven and set 100 degrees C to dry it for 3 hours , or use the hair drying to remove moisture until the resistance value turn normal.

5. The vibrator issued a shrill sound. Please check the vibrator screw loose or not, or reassembly the screw, or piezoelectric ceramic loose or broken will also cause the problem.
