There are requirements for Plastic Ultrasonic Welding Machine, which need to be thermoplastic materials. After molding, the material is softened by heating up and can be reprocessed, and its chemical structure remains unchanged. The resin structure of thermoplastics is linear before and after secondary processing, and the chemical structure does not change during the welding process, and it has both fusible and soluble properties.

Ultrasonic welding will produce a certain temperature.If using the machine when without well debugging,it may deform or break the plastic, or it may lead to direct damage to ultrasonic welding machine. So it is necessary to understand whether the material is suitable for welding in advance.

In general, it is possible to use ultrasonic welding machine to weld plastic materials such as PVC, Acetal, PPO, PSF, PPS, PS, PE, PC, PA, etc. Welding effects such as ABS and PS are always good.  If choosing this kind of material, you will get not only beautiful products, but also may eliminate lots of trouble.

1. Some ester acid weaving material is more difficult to be welded. Because its contact surface is not easy to absorb ultrasonic energy, the vibration overheating easily lead to local discoloration in ultrasonic welding process. 　　

2. ABS material and benzene-copolymer which is light and easy to form clumps, and with rigidity, impact resistance and chemical resistance, which has a wide range of uses. This kind of material has good thermal conductivity . ABS material is suitable for ultrasonic welding machine.

3. Acetal material not only has strong tensile strength, but also high compressive strength, and its abrasion resistance is especially strong. When acetal workpiece has been welded by ultrasonic, it needs to increase the vibration amplitude and lengthen the welding time. These materials are mostly used for supporting parts such as bearings, kitchen utensils, screws and rollers because of their relatively low wear resistance coefficient.

4. PMMA (acrylic acid) is not only hard, but also not affected by acid. It has high optical permeability and good color. When it is used in ultrasonic welding machine, the first thing to pay attention to is the brightness problem. It is commonly used in automobile taillights, instrument panels, medals, faucet rubber handles, etc.

5. Materials such as PS , polystyrene series plastics, thermoplastic resins, shiny and transparent beads or granular solids, they have strong corrosion resistance to water and chemical substances, also with good insulation. This kind materials is suitable for extrusion or extrusion molding, it is mostly used for various toys, decorations, washing equipment, lenses and other products. The material has a high elastic coefficient and is suitable for ultrasonic welding.
