Plastic Hot Plate Welding Machine Welding process
During the hot plate welding , the part comes into contact with, or almost, a heating plate or infrared heat source to facilitate heat transfer at the junction. After the plastic melts, the hot plate retracts rapidly. Under pressure, the heated parts are pressed in contact with each other until the material is sufficiently cooled and the bond is firm. Specifically, it can be divided into the following three stages.
Step1: Heating phase. The hot plate heats the welded position of the component.
Step2: Hot plate retracted.
Step3: Press the tight sealing stage.
Hot plate welding time is longer. The welding process is environmentally friendly and does not require adhesives.
